Coming Soon!
Challenge Ropes Course - Ireland's only TREE TOPS ropes course!
High
above the ground in the tree tops, the ropes course makes for an
exciting and unusual alternative to heading for the hills, and not
only that, you will have great fun too; you also learn a few techniques
that may come in useful one day in the mountains or on a crag.
The ropes course is situated in our 240 acres private estate, amongst
towering mature oak and beech trees. The elements on the ropes course
have been constructed using these tall trees and blend naturally
into the surrounding landscape. All of our high elements are suspended
between 35 feet and 55 feet above the ground - the view from up
above is spectacular!
Sky Trekking
Become Indiana Jones for a few hours and discover the thrill of
Sky Trekking (Aerial Trekking) high above the forest floor. Our
Sky Trek is 80 metres long and measures up to 60 feet in height.
Move from tree to tree, cross rope bridges, scramble nets
and other fun activities. Adrenalin fuelled fun, laughter and adventure!
Follow friends and family on foot and share the fun from the forest
floor. This sensational adventure is open to all who measure at
least 1.10 metres and is carried out at your own pace.
Low Ropes
The low course is composed of several stationary elements, with
participants performing activities on trees, ropes, cables, or freestanding
equipment. Some elements are performed on ground level while others
can be up to 12 feet high.
Vertical
Fun! Climbing & Abseiling Tower
Our new wooden state of the art climbing tower mirrors the rock
climbing experience. Simulated rock footholds make climbing fun,
providing the chance for groups to ascent in safe, controlled conditions.
Making it to the top of the tower and taking in the stunning views
of the Wicklow Mountains is a real exhilaration.
The Challenge Ropes Course as well as the Sky Trek, the Climbing
Tower and the Low Ropes Course have been constructed to extremely
high specifications, with expert instruction provided at all times.
Archery
Although great discipline is required to become an expert archer,
one of the great attractions of the sport is that it really is available
to everybody no matter what their age, ability or competitive desire.
Orienteering
Orienteering is a competitive form of land navigation combined with
the suspense and excitement of a treasure hunt. It is for all ages
and degrees of fitness and skill. Unlike classic competitive orienteering,
our courses are designed so individuals can use it on their own,
as well as in competitions. Maps can be checked out for day use
from our office.
