Kippure Walking Centre recognises that many of its activities have some impact on the environment and that the Irish upland is very fragile in its nature. As a leading walking operator, we aim to conduct our business and operations to reflect best environmental practice.

To demonstrate our commitment we have implemented an environmental policy appropriate to the location, scale and nature of our business.

Specifically, we:

	Review all of our activities, operations and procedures on an ongoing basis to identify, quantify and evaluate their environmental impact and set priorities for addressing these.
	Minimise any negative environmental effects caused by our activities, use energy and natural and non-renewable resources efficiently, and minimise waste and pollution.
	Ensure that environmental objectives are integrated into relevant business objectives in a cost-effective manner.
