Out from the very doorstep of Ireland’s capital, Dublin, stretches a vast area, which can only be described as a wonderland. Wicklow, a wild and ancient landscape, is rich in magnificent domed granite mountains and purple glens, soft rolling hills and silvery streams. The Wicklow Mountains are the largest mountainous area in Ireland and offer a great natural diversity. From sea level on the east coast, the land rises to the majestic Wicklow Mountain range, which also contains Ireland’s largest National Park.
