Visitors can ramble through the 240 acres of woodlands,
park and farmland on the estate. The land has a natural population
of deer, badgers and birdlife as well as rare plants, grasses and
traditional woodlands.

All
trails are waymarked and offer beautiful views over the Wicklow
Mountains.
Liffey Walk
This is a relaxing walk to one of the more tranquil areas of the
estate. This trail follows the river Liffey, leading to a scenic
viewpoint overlooking a river bend and the remnants of Coronation
Plantation which was planted in the 1830s.
The Old Avenue
A splendid stroll, which follows the original 19th Century carriageway
to the old Kippure House. This trail passes through a preserved
woodland area where natural regeneration takes place within a unique
flora ecosystem.
Mountain View Walk
This popular walk leads trough natural peatland and heather up to
a trail, which is flanked by picturesque old beech trees. Follow
this trail for magnificent views over Mullaghcleevaun Mountain,
which is Irish for 'Top of the Cradle'.
Rock Wood
Mature trees, many of which have seen centuries of change, line
the naturally undulating trails along small brooks and past large
boulders strewn by the last Ice Age. The canopy of leaves of this
mixed woodlands provide a dappled light effect which is magical
to the eye.
